It's Thursday. Guess what I'm doing?

Which contains quite a few shards
thunderstorms
and bratwurst.

Tonight's episode of Supernatural has caused my heart to break into quite a few pieces. Luckily I know someone who can repair it quite easily so it won't be in that state for very long.

This is one of the weirdest things about being a fangurl. If the majority of the show is good, or was good, you can forgive anything. Route 666 might be the worst Supernatural episode ever. However, I was able to defend it for quite awhile by saying 'The car chase was cool.' and 'Cassie was emotionally tapped out. She was incapable of showing emotion. Casting did not mess up hiring that actress." It wasn't until Kripke (The series creator) apologized for the 'Racist truck episode' that I could allow myself to stop making excuses for the lousy writing.

[I will forever maintain that the orignal idea for the episode would have been awesome. A race to the death between Dean in the 67' Impala and a huge ghost car/truck. That could have been epic win.]

It's like mental CPR. It only works for a little while, though. I walked out of Indiana Jones and the Kindom of the Crystal Skull saying 'Omg that was totally awesome!' 'Yay! Indy!' 'Shia Lebuff is the bestest actor ever'. Eventually, I just got too tired and a little piece of me died.

Anyway, this week's episode was good. So I don't need to do any mental CPR. As for the actual season finale, I might need to get a defibrillator ready.

  1. Maybe I'll have to give this show another try. I watched the first episode and had nightmares about the mother burning on the ceiling, so I wasn't allowed to watch any more of them... But sounds intriguing :-)

  2. I watched one episode with ghosts in the dark. Not really a good idea. They do really good ghosts. But yeah, lights on, something to snuggle and hide your face behind and it's the most awesome show ever.
